In the event of a finding by our Opticians that requires further investigation or treatment, a letter will be sent to the patient's GP detailing the results of the eye examination. The GP and/or optometrist will then refer the patient to the appropriate clinic for further investigations/treatment.
Once this referral has been processed, the Patient will receive an appointment with the relevant Consultants.
Should a Patient wish to be treated privately, our staff will contact the Secretary of the Opthalmologist or Consultant concerned to arrange an appointment at their earliest availability.
